Sound Bath Experience

Step away from the data, deadlines, research, and constant mental demands of the day—and give your mind an opportunity to rest. Presented by The Sound Void Collective, a sound bath is a guided relaxation experience where participants rest comfortably while listening to sustained sounds created by instruments such as crystal singing bowls, chimes, and ocean drums. There is nothing to follow, analyze, or accomplish—you simply listen and experience the sound! The Sound Void Collective will create an immersive soundscape inspired by water and the marine environment, offering a fitting experience for those who spend their careers studying, exploring, and protecting our natural world.

Please bring a yoga mat or beach towel, and water. Wear comfortable clothes. To join us for the sound bath experience, choose this add-on in the meeting registration form.

Volunteers

Meeting volunteers help make every meeting run smoothly so participants may have a memorable and educational experience. We are currently looking for volunteers to fill several positions. Some positions may allow you to network with meeting participants, while others may provide a behind-the-scenes look at how to make a great meeting for all.

Check out the Volunteer opportunities here.

Respiratory Illness

SERSTM follows current CDC guidance for respiratory illnesses. Please stay home if you’re feeling sick and return only after symptoms improve and you’ve been fever-free for 24 hours without medication. This policy will be updated as needed.
